The band with the Sountrack to my life, back with a new Album. Longtime DM fan and maybe slighlty baised. The Streaming hasent done the Album Justice, after downloading you get the full effect of all the sounds used in the production. Some instant classics like Soothe my Soul, some growers like Heaven. Flood filling Alan's space. This is real music, 30 years on, and the number one album on itunes.

This is definitely the best album they've released in years with the strong songwriting and vocals of Violator and Songs of Faith and Devotion. They still have all the mojo and definitely a good few albums left in them before the rest of us minions will catch up to their genius! Re-affirmed there is no EDM without DM!

Was really worried where the band would go after SOTU. The move is inspiring, dark, cheerful, beautiful and enchanting all at the same time. Dave and Martin seem to have connected on a higher lever. The lyrics and sounds connect on every level and Dave's voice takes you on an emotional ride that is captivating. 33 years and the band is still creating sounds many have tried to emulate and failed. DM will always remain one of the great acts of their generation and this album proves it. Stand out tracks include: Welcome to My World, Slow,Heaven, Alone, Should be higher, Soothe my soul and Secret to the End. Can't wait to see the album live !!

This is DM’s 13th studio albums after a staggering 33 years in the business – and they still sound like a band that the future is trying to catch up with. This album is the best they have done in quite some time, certainly much, much better than SOTU. Look, there is no Enjoy the Silence or Personal Jesus here, but that simmering disquiet they have mastered is still present in droves, full of menace like an uncle looking for a fistfight. This album is beautifully produced with lots of hidden gems. Check out the grandfather clock riff in Secret to the End, also including a 16-bar drop that splits the sound into two sides, a classic DM hook from the left and a chugging, electric guitar from the right (Gore’s speciality). Here’s to DM – one of the greatest underrated bands ever!

2 and 1/2 stars. Hugely disappointing. Been a massive DM fan since 1980 day one. Dave's voice sounds tired and trying too hard. Even the master lyricist and genius Martin's lyrics are trite/lame on most songs. Angel is a mess. Initially liked Heaven but it's growing off me. Soothe My Soul is excellent though, reminiscent of Violator. 1 or 2 other tracks OKish.
