    It has taken a long time. The news finally arrived at 2am in the form of a iTunes notification. Damien Rice finally released his new album. I do not want to sound overly dramatic... but by the time I was only 4 songs deep I could feel that my faith in music kind has been restored. The wait endlessly frustrated me, but it was worth every second. We don't know what we have until it is taken away.

    My Favourite Faded Fantasy sounds absolutely incredible, Best Damien vocal I’ve ever heard and I didn’t ever for once think it could get better, the guitar textures are amazing, you know when you just know a record is going to be a favourite for years to come. Well done Damien Rice and Rick Rubin, A match made in heaven.
