All you would expect from a band always looking to appeal to a younger audience but not necessarily looking to reinvent their sound. Filled with that classic Coldplay melody that always gets one singing and whistling at the same time. Their audacity to collaborate with Beyonce on Hymn for the weekend shows their fearlessness and penchant to try and bring together two very different genres and do so quite brilliantly. And though it is no Parachutes which was a Purists delight it is a wonderfully constructed, melodic, daring and happy album which will spreads joy to all who has the privilege of listening to it. And the world could always do with a bit of joy.

Following on Ghost Stories...this album is a much happier collection that reminds you of the Mylo Xyloto season. Fantastic album. But maybe lacking 3 more songs hahah 😄
