It's truly commendable how this Korean artist mastered 10 songs in a non-native language, showcasing dedication and hard work.
Jungkook’s vocal versatility and ability to embody different personas added a cinematic quality to the album. Almost like ‘listening’ to different movies. Over the course of the album's 11 tracks, Jung Kook adeptly channels a variety of identities and performing styles - personas if you will (shoutout to BTS’ Map of the Soul - Persona album), making him seem more and more like a conduit for the music. It just flows through him - a superpower that Jungkook has wields beautifully.
The bravery to experiment in such a unique way is noteworthy, and congratulations to him for creating an exceptional project that will surely go down in history. As an introduction of the solo work of Jungkook the artist (not just BTS’ lead vocalist), this is a grand business card! 💜
